The Trident 1E was built at Hatfield in Hertfordshire and first entered service in the 1960s. Only 117 Tridents were built in total, 35 of them for the Chinese airline CAAC. This British Airways Trident 1E is pictured at the Science Museum's Wroughton airfield in Wiltshire.
