De Havilland DH 104 Devon aircraft. Built Hatfield, February 1949. Air Ministry no. VP975. Maker's S/n 04255. It is a twin-engined short to medium-haul airliner designed to carry eight passengers. This example served at RAE Farnborough, others were used for communications duties. The civilan Dove was an executive transport. It is pictured at the Science Museum's Wroughton airfield in Wiltshire.
