A photograph of a man reading a resolution to workers at the Kaganovich Ball Bearing Plant, Moscow, taken by a Planet News Ltd photographer on 15 March 1938 and used by the Daily Herald newspaper. Factories and workplaces across the country were denouncing a group of 31 men who were on trial for treason and murder. This photograph has been selected from the Daily Herald Archive, a collection of over three million photographs. The archive holds work of international, national and local importance by both staff and agency photographers.
