Cover of an advertising trade leaflet entitled 'New! An X-ray Outfit Simple as a Camera', which was produced by the equipment manufacturers Watson & Sons (electro-medical) Ltd. By the 1930s, X-ray equipment was in widespread use for the diagnosis of a broad range of ailments, from broken bones to tumours and tuberculosis. This brochure was aimed at dentists.
