Caption:
Cerebro-spinal manometers are used to measure the pressure of cerebro-spinal fluid. The needle is inserted into the fluid, and the height of the fluid in the bore indicates the pressure. The cerebro-spinal fluid surrounds and nourishes the brain and spinal cord. Disturbances in its volume, pressure or constituents can affect the brain and result in behavioural changes.
